Sweet Sounds

I am enjoying the hell out of this summer. Here's a few sweet sounds that are making it possible. Also check out this post from the prolific Kwaya Na Kisser for an old Beck song that takes me back to hangin out in Bob's basement half a lifetime ago. Good times.

To me, the guitar sounds like New Order, and then the chorus it becomes Velocity Girl's "Sorry Again". Weird thing to do in my opinion. Still good.

I'm in love with this song. It sticks in my head for days at a time. Their last (first) album was a bit of a disappointment to me. But if this is an indication of the new stuff, please bring it on.

Slag Boom Van Loon is Speedy J and µ-Ziq. But this remix sounds like a Boards of Canada song to me so I give them 80% of the props. Pretty and eerie. Like a BoC song. See.
